Born on the South ShoreFrom the South Shore
to Sackville Drive
Old School Pizza is not a chain and never has been. It is a Nova Scotia shop built on simple ideas: real ingredients, big portions and a good laugh at the counter.
Good pizza,
good times
It began back in 2016 out by St. Margaret's Bay. A pizza oven, a recipe for dough nobody was willing to compromise on, and a simple idea about what good pizza should be. Word got around the South Shore fast. Turns out people will drive a long way for a donair that is actually loaded and a pizza that tastes like someone made it on purpose.
Nearly ten years later we packed it all up and headed up the highway to Middle Sackville. The shop on Sackville Drive is the new home base, but nothing about the food changed. Same dough, same real bacon, same house donair, and the same good-natured ribbing across the counter.
Nine years, one highway
There is a hand-painted map on our wall that traces the whole trip. Here is the short version.

It starts on the bay
The first Old School Pizza fires up near St. Margaret's Bay. Dough made in house, donairs spun fresh, and a name that says exactly what we are about.

The bay years
Word travels the South Shore
From Hubbards to Tantallon to Hammonds Plains, regulars turn into the kind of crowd that knows the menu by heart. The Old School Special and the Bad Boy donair earn their reputation.
